Howard Erickson, Navy Veteran, FT Snelling National Cemetary, 23 Apr 02

We had 46 PGR members attend the Honor's mission for Navy Veteran Howard Erickson today. After staging and a short mission briefing we filed over to FT Snelling National Cemetary. After a brief delay, we were escorted to shelter #5 to setup our flag line. With the great turnout we had our parking area was stuffed and some overflow was needed on the adjacent street. A short burial ceremony was held. The Family was extremely appreciative of our members today. A relative of commented that it was awesome that the PGR had more members there then the family did.

Thank you to all who attended today. Once again the PGR has eased the burden of the loss of a loved one.

1 Safety note: One of our members had an incident coming to staging today, he was forced into the cement median by a cage that wasn't paying attention to there driving. No injuries, frayed nerves and some minor damage to the scooter. Please use caution while riding, it seems the cages have to relearn how to drive again now that the scooters are out in force.

Respectivly submitted.
